NVBIA will host a Legislative Recap and Look Ahead on December 16 on Zoom. Please join NVBIA Director of Government Affairs Steven Marku, NVBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Andrew Painter, and HBAV Vice President of Government Affairs Andrew Clark for an engaging look at the current state of play in the Virginia General Assembly.

The 2019 elections brought sweeping changes to the General Assembly, ushering in its first Democratic majority in over 20 years. Since then, more Northern Virginia legislators have taken leadership roles in both chambers than ever before in Virginia history. We?ll talk about some of the new changes we?ve seen in 2020, how the General Assembly has responded to the pandemic, and what we expect going into 2021. Don?t miss this chance to get plugged into the key issues affecting our industry.
