DESCRIPTION:THIS COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY IS AT FULL CAPACITY.\n\n	\n		\n			\n		\n	\n\n \n\n\n	\n		\n			Volunteer with WBI for Compassion in Action Week -- September 8 - 14\n\n			\n\n			We're excited to invite you to join NVBIA's Women in the Building Industry (WBI) as we partner with Great American Community Kitchen for a week of meaningful volunteer opportunities during our Compassion in Action Volunteer Week\, happening September 8 - 14.\n\n			\n\n			Great American Community Kitchen is an inspiring organization dedicated to serving fresh\, nourishing meals to those facing food insecurity -- while restoring dignity and creating real human connection. Their mission deeply aligns with WBI's values\, and we're honored to support their work this quarter.\n\n			\n\n			Volunteer Details:\n\n			\n				Date: September 8 - 14\, 2025\n				Volunteer Structure: Small groups of 3 people per day\n				Locations: Various distribution sites throughout Northern Virginia\n				Activity: Help distribute meals\n			\n			 This is a hands-on opportunity to provide food support -- while strengthening bonds across our local community. Whether you've volunteered before or this is your first time\, your participation will make a meaningful difference.\n\n			 \n\n			Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes\, bring a hair tie\, and apply sunscreen. Remember to bring plenty of snacks and water for yourself. If you capture any moments during your volunteering\, kindly share your photos by emailing them to Jana McDonald at jmcdonald@nvbia.com.\n\n			 \n\n			Together\, we can embody what it means to lead with heart.
