Additionally\, Ms. Palchik will discuss what to expect from Fairfax County and how the recent election will have an impact on us all going forward. \n\n \n\nGuest Speaker\n\nSupervisor Palchik was first elected to the Fairfax County School Board in 2015 at the age of 32\, and then in 2019\, was elected to represent Providence District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors\, covering Tysons\, West Falls Church\, Merrifield\, and Oakton.  Since her election\, she has been focused on new and creative ways to increase quality affordable housing\, bring more thoughtful transit-oriented development to Fairfax County\, find new solutions to modernize schools\, and commit to a new renewable energy standard.
